The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating an officer-involved shooting that left one person dead Sunday evening in Muscle Shoals. Muscle Shoals Police say they were dispatched to a call on Tuxedo Avenue, which led to the shooting. Per protocol, police say the officers involved are on administrative leave.

According to the department, officers were responding to a call from Tuxedo Avenue, when the shots were fired. They provided no details about what kind of call they were responding to, how many officers were on scene, or whether or not any one was hurt in the shooting.
