Simon Harris has accepted an invitation to meet US president Joe Biden at the White House in October. Following the meeting, the Taoiseach and Mr Biden will both speak at an event to mark the centenary of bilateral diplomatic relations between Ireland and the US.
White House: Biden to visit Germany in mid-October
US President Joe Biden will visit Germany between October 10 and 13, the White House said on Tuesday. Biden will travel on to Angola after his German stay, the White House added. The president had long promised a trip to the African continent but had repeatedly postponed it.
