Cam Ward’s spot in the Miami Hurricanes’ record books is secure. The quarterback already has the school record for single-season touchdown passes. He’s all but certain to set the school record for single-season passing yards next game.

Enter: Miami quarterback Cam Ward, who was previously a Washington State Cougar. The Miami standout has been nothing short of phenomenal this season. Ward has thrown for 3,146 yards and 29 touchdowns against only six interceptions as his Hurricanes are 9-0. Needless to say, Ward looks to be one of the top quarterbacks in the 2025 NFL draft.

Despite the criticism, Ward still finished the day 25-of-39 passing for 348 yards and 3 TDs compared to the lone, yet critical, fumble. The Hurricanes dropped to 9-1 overall and 5-1 in the ACC, tied with Clemson and a half-game back of 5-0 SMU.
