A Coastal Flood Advisory will go into effect Friday afternoon from Noon to 3 p.m. Minor flooding in Portland starts at 12 feet. With that said, the high tide is forecasted to peak at 12.6’ Friday afternoon around 1:16 p.m. Another round of minor flooding is possible Saturday afternoon around 2:05 p.m., with a forecasted high tide of 12.7’.

Inexperienced swimmers are asked to remain out of the water while the advisory is in effect, according to the National Weather Service.

A coastal flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 10:09 a.m. valid for Friday between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. for Gloucester, Camden and Burlington counties.
