The US Secret Service has reportedly enhanced Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s security during his three-day visit to the United States amidst security concerns in the wake of two alleged assassination attempts on former US President Donald Trump .

The Secret Service's leader said Friday the agency is instituting a "paradigm shift" in how it carries out its mission as it nears completion of its internal probe of the assassination attempt against Donald Trump.

The agency found that it did not adequately prepare its local partners for the Butler, Pa., event, and its leader also cited lapses including complacency by some agents and technological breakdowns.
