Sep 30, 2024 · Sixty-six percent of college students voted in 2020, up 14 percentage points from 2016, according to the National Study of Learning, Voting, and Engagement at Tufts University’s Institute for Democracy and Higher Education. Younger students ages 18 to 21 voted at the highest rates of all, portending a continued upward trend, the study found.
